 Happy Happy Birthday, PRIHAR!


The pride to see you glean and preen,

With the occasional bruises of the woes of teen;

Clichéd to declare, that my G.O.A.T. you are both,

But it wont sway me away from my Mommy oath;

To love you and love you guys to the moon and back,

But your screen time I will continue to track!


From ‘I love you ‘ to ‘I hate you’ and everything in between,

From ‘You are the OG’ to ‘My days, Mom, you are such a Drama Queen’;

I will take it all with a pinch of salt,

And keep redoing my Boss settings to default!

It is my job to prepare you for tomorrow,

Just as your Insta skills I continue to borrow!


One is a Sweet Sixteen and the other one is now an Adult,

Times have changed from babies to the Reel Forward Cult.

NGL, fr… you both are the apples of my eyes….

I am truly amazed at how time flies!

I cannot wait to see what Life has in store for you…

Excited and Anxious, my W, albeit hope to see you hold your virtue!

Well, as couples, or parents-to-be or parents, we have always gone through this dilemma.... how many children are ‘good enough’, if at all we are planning to have any. You are always under the pressure of family and extended family and neighbour’s family and family of family for when are you going to have the baby. Sometimes, it is almost to the extent that it is the only purpose of their lives. I am sure we have always seen parents either judging others or have been judged themselves for having the number of children that they have. Having none will get you tagged of not being the maternal types; which is considered to be the sole reason for a woman’s existence by some. One offspring is too less, even though it is helping in the cause of controlling the world population. Two is just right, even though ‘it is not really required’.
